The boats highlighted yellow are of the first six built by the Morgan Giles yard itself and all others by Somerset Plastics.

The Build Year has to be treated with caution.  Many boats lack the builder’s certificate and the date may be drawn from the year of first registration.  All the Somerset Plastics boats were sold with bare cabin for owner completion and considerable periods may have elapsed between build and launching – twenty years in one case! Eleonara II has the original builder’s certificate dated June 1977 showing her as n° 78.  Somerset Plastics made ‘over 70’ boats, so she must have been later in production than her position in the register implies.  Some  boats may have been built earlier and registered later.
